Thank you Yelp, once again, for bringing wonderful people like this into my life. Rachelle and Stephen are warm, gentle, funny, easy going, and I as you can see, goes without saying, beautiful people inside and out. They are expecting their first child, a little girl, and asked me to take some maternity shots of them as they wait for Daddy’s Little Princess to arrive.

Maternity :: Brandi and Hector

When Brandi contacted me to capture her pregnancy with my camera, I was delighted. We knew of each other thanks to a local mailing list of moms and moms-to-be, and it was wonderful finally putting a face to the name. I was tickled to find out that Brandi and Hector are newlyweds! And get this, Hector proposed to her at Mile 18 during the LA Marathon – romance, romance, romance!
The session began in their beautiful home, surrounded by their two puppies, a gaggle of birds and a beautiful backdrop of lush, green trees. Brandi had some fantastic ideas of poses, props and locations, and she was spot on with every one. We got some wonderful in-home shots and then headed down to the beach to get some more sunset images.
I am constantly reminded how lucky I am to be meeting wonderful clients who become great friends. This session was no exception.
